i think that can be saved did u check the teeth on the gears? if the fork just broke then its salvagable but if not then ud have to asses the damages

The gears look fine. My advice would be to just get a rebuild kit, and that fork. If you decide to just buy another tranny, PM me. I wouldn't mind getting that one and rebuilding it for a spare.

as long as none of the gears got chipped you could just buy a new shift fork and what ever syncro you hand problems shifting with and slap it together. should be able to do it for about $100 through champion.

or you could just get the fork that way you don't have to press anything. that you can do at your house. just make sure to get new bolts for all three shift forks while you have it appart. not to say its the best thing to do but i'm sure it will get you by for a while.

i have over $500 in parts for mine. thats with the mc chromoly bearing retainer that was $90 alone. lol.

From 3rd to 4th at what was it again? 70+ mph? Ahh, good times sitting on that highway until 4am waiting for the tow truck driver.

I've got an extra r154 at my garage if you want it. It's currently hooked up to a block that doesn't have the head on it.

Just get a new fork...dm sells rebuild kits for $200ish....buying a used trans will cost more than that....unless you have no tools to pull gears and bearings.
