As in title is this a good price?

1990 Supra Turbo
$7500
98k miles

1JZ Supra Turbo BPU++
Targa top 5spd
Fresh Clutch
Southern car ZERO Rust
body is straight but paint is bad
Clear title and current regestration in hand, clear car fax.

"Interior is dark burgandy and a 8 of 10, fantastic condition compared to most mk3 supras still around. Authentic JDM momo wheel, AEM WB and boost gauges on the pillar. The 1J swap has no problems and was from low mile clip professionally installed 3 years ago. Purrs like a kitten and screems under boost. Tokico shocks on H&R Springs, NEW TIRES: 285r & 235f, 18" offset wheels. Car is a blast and sounds very good, Full 3" exhaust. Too Much to list, $7k in the engine, electronics and turbo setup alone"

Think he said it was a T62-1 and should be good for about 500-600hp?

I don't know a whole lot about Supra's yet..What do yall think!?

The car is worth exactly the amount you're willing to pay. It is a nice looking supra and it seems to be mechanically sound which you can't almost put a price on with our cars. If it's worth it to you, then go for it. I don't particularly like the way the powersteering reservoir is mounted though.

7500$ would be a steal here in calgary for a 901JZ but you americans can get them for so cheap so not sure of how smokin a deal that really is for you.

car looks nice. but for less then that you could have a 1JZ put into your supra if you already have one. If not i'd say maybe shop around? Go with what you feel comfortable with. Whats your gut tell you (if your like me you have to ignore that excitable feeling in your gut and listen to reason, lol)

I'm asking what it is worth to you guys, I don't really know anything about these cars, I just came across it and it looks interesting. I used to be a big fan of MKIVs. I drive a 6 speed Trans Am WS6 and we are talking about trading.

it looks good. i can tell by looking in the engine bay that it was installed by good shop. they even extended the wiring harness instead of cutting a hole in the firewall. all in all it looks like a decent deal. its worth the money. the color combo is my least favorite, but you might no mind it.

Take it for a drive and then decide for yourself. If the car is in good mechanical condition and has only only a few cosmetic issues then I say the car is worth the price. Like everyone has said though it has to be worth it to you. I paid a lot for a BPU JZA70 but it was super clean and was in such a good condtion. Its up to you man.

in all honesty that doesnt look that 'professional' to me... the vavle cover just has a little filter on it, it has two different power steering res. (maybe ones a catch can?) but that one on the right just looks like an accident waiting to happen. p/s fluid is flamable, just remember that.

and they could have at least made an intake pipe for the thing...

take it for a drive, and if YOU like it, then get it. its your decision, and car.

Well I think Im going to set up an appointment to look at it and drive it, but like I said I don't know anything about Supra's, so I have no idea what it is worth, or what to look for. This car definitely doesn't look as good as mine, but it's a lot faster Im sure and I am ready for something new. Not sure what I want. I know very little about MKIV's and that's it.

This is my car...runs low 13's

What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. As much as I like Supras that Trans Am is in mint shape and with a build motor and forced induction it would haul some serious ass.

Your TA is sick nasty in first and second (and maybe higher, dunno your mods), the Supra wont be like that at all (third fourth fifth, highway car). Personally, I prefer mid to high power V8s over my Supra, even ones making a lot less power than me. Instantly getting punched in the face with torque is exciting... Turbo lag can be exciting too but it's a whole different ball game. Take it for a test drive, if you like it go for it. Remounting the PS res somewhere less idiotic is a minor task, it doesn't look too shabby other than that. On the other hand, that TA is friggin' mint, and I think you might regret letting it go if the Supra starts giving you troubles.

Having driven a '04 GTO (6sp) and my basic mod MK3 (5sp) I would still say the supra is a much more fun car to drive, slightly slower but still responsive enough (turbo lag with a CT-26 at least is over rated)...and it is definitely a lot more fun to drive quickly around corners...

I've driven a 97 Z28 M6 (basically the same car, but with less mods) and I'd trade any day of the week... It's just a matter of personal preference.
