Just email him a big picture of hand-cuffs.
Heh, he may not get the idea. Perhaps the picture should be of a hand with some fingers cut off...
Spam may be the way to go. I imagine most of these scammers do their work out of internet cafes, so the more porn/spam they have to browse through the more time they have to waste before actually getting to their scam--I mean, "business"--emails. Although I imagine they are pretty used to changing email addresses frequently due to their line of work...The domain that the mail from the buyer came from was Yahoo.com, so that's hard to track, and the phony PayPal reply-to address he wanted me to send the tracking number to was directed to mailto:verificationclearx@accountant.com
And he is asking me to send it overseas, using a FedEx account number that he probably hijacked. Here are the deets on that:
FEDEX SHIPPING ACCOUNT =264308763
shipping address
Name...williams Martins
Address...No 4 akinjobi st GRA Flat 21
City...ikeja
State...lagos
Country..Nigeria
zip code...23401
phone number...2348022724652
[copied straight from the email...very professional looking, isn't it?]
I do remember reading about the guy that sent a nigerian scammer a fake laptop with a huge declared value, but I also remember the guy that sent it to him kinda disappeared before finishing the story, so...:dunno:
I did find these in my searching for info on the scammers:
The 419 Eater and
NiU's Homepage
Fun stuff, but I'm starting to lose interest. Plus I have midterms this week, not the best week for me to try and con a con.
