Or whatever its called, I know I 99.99999999% dont have it, its an 86.5 with full sports package, Im just asking bc when my car was running, I remember when I hammered it in 1st and 2nd and 3rd, it ran great then when I hit about 3500rpms, the car kicked hard and took off about twice as fast and stayd that way til the next gear, I never knew why, wondered if that had anything to do with it or not.

Ok I think I just found out it was only on 2JZs, but um, why the hell did the car do that then

Acoustic controlled induction system or somthing

Its like TVIS but better basically.

Do a search on it.

automatic control induction system, interesting, so like a slimmed version of VVTI? Ive never seen any way to make this always on or tune this unless MAFT Pro does it.

The 7M and 2JZ-GTE never had VVT-i in North America. The 2JZ-GE got VVT-i in 1998.

You were probably experiencing ACIS, which comes equipped on 7M-GE and 2JZ-GE engines in the Supra.

There is plenty of information on it, I suggest a search. :)
