I hit fuel cut at 11 psi, If I were to purchase a FCD would it be ok to run 15psi. on stock injectors and stock fpr?

No. That is why it the car has fuel cut. The car has cast pistons and a composite headgasket. Running on the ragged edge is not what Toyota intended for their luxury GT.

how is tricking the computer to run more boost different that tricking the computer to let more air in with a LEX afm

The Lex doesn't trick the computer into running more boost. It sends a slower wave at the same volume, which is compensated by using the correct corresponding injectors that are sized for the Lex.

ok you got the mhg and arps so aslong as you keep an eye on your wide band it would be fine. try to keep it from 11 to 12.5 max i would say but take your own risk. if it runs lean then do the regulator i would try to rent out a dyno or have it tuned street tuning is garbage and use a dyno pack or mustang dyno for the load.

Good drugs this week I see.....:nono:

A road tune is a vital component of a tune, it goes hand in hand with a dyno session to set WOT mixtures and timing and the general maps.

In a word, no.

To do it without going ka-boom...in addition to what you've got, your going to need (at least):

-bigger fuel feed lines

-another feed to the fuel rail (not absolutely necessary, but advisable)

-AFPR

-550 injectors

-MAFTPro w/TunerProRT program

-upgraded IC plumbing

-bov

-solid tune session on dyno

..oh and 54 trim or better wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Yeah, I know guys who have done it with less, but they (er..uh..I.. ) went ka-boom. Detonation and fuel starvation will get you every time, probably sooner than later if you try to "cheapo boost".

IJ, I'm not as old as you. :biglaugh: And while my 1/4 mile amature competitive days are hung up, friends still pull the plugs at the track and check color. Nothing like a full load to know for sure.

get a lex and 550s and you should be ok. you could also just get an SAFC, take it to a dyno and see where you are sitting and play with fuel. ive run 18+ psi on a ct26 with just a lex and 550s and suffered no ill effects. I have now added on and run a JT61GT at 18 psi and have no issues (went vpc, afpr, walbro etc etc)

Plug chops on a 7M are a PITA but can be a good indicator ;)
