He got hurt in a bike accident as well I think. He's posted in the mod forum a couple times recently. He's got stuff going on, but he's still around.

I am usually for the mods to address and handle the issue rather than to just simply lock the thread.
(Anyone can lock a thread, but not just anyone can handle a 'crowd'.)
What if we just locked this thread up at this point.
It served its purpose...and I would be willing to bet that IJ. wants it ended.
