Is EVERY 7M exhaust manifold cracked??

So I have 2 7MGTEs torn apart and both of their exhaust manifolds are cracked identically, both also have the same stud on top snapped off in the manifold - is this super common? I mean my small sample size tells me that 100% of them are cracked! :icon_razz Should I look to have one repaired? Welding cast iron is tough isn't it? Is it even worth looking for a used one off a parts car or are they all broken? This is wicked annoying! Below's a pic of what I'm talking about. Thanks for any tips!

Those are early manifolds, later ones have more ribs and don't crack as easily (mine isn't cracked)

I just replaced my early gte cracked manifold with an uncracked early manifold. And yes, the crack was in the exact same location as yours.

Of the 5 I have owned, and the few that actually came to the shop back in the day, I haven't ever seen one. But this is Supramania, aka Alice in Wonderland.

Seen few cracked ones. Usually around exit hole.
