i just got my car running and driving and im stoked!now after its broken in i need to do some type of engine management.the maft pro came to my attention,it sounds pretty good and is a heck of lot cheaper than standalone.please tell me pros and cons compared to other piggyback systems.60-1turbonetics,1mm stopper,020 wiscoe pistons,eagle rods,fully balanced,bc 264 cams,titan cam gears,24x12 intercooler w/2.5 inch hardpipes.also how safe is it to run maft with this setup.thanks walt.

I was about to say "read the sticky" about the MAFTPro until I realized you were turbo. So now I'll say this:

You're in the wrong forum, but even though you are, I'll give you an answer. It IS good to run it and IMO, it's one of the best (if not the best) piggybacks to use. Anyways, I'll move this thread on over to the turbo section.

no one runs the MAFT pro, it never existed..... {shift eyes} i was never here and this conversation never happened.

i would advise you to never bring this up and especially never talk to Dr. Jonez..... he knows nothing about the MAFT PRO system which doesnt exist and no ones heard of...

yes you can use your aem wideband.

no, you dont have to have a laptop. but it is much easier and you can datalog with a laptop too.

it is a pretty decent system, albeit a little quirky at times. but i never had good luck with the boost control feature on an external wastegate.

heh. read all the big threads....i helped w/the development of the MKIII application. the MAFT pro is hands down the most versatile piggyback on the market. it also offers something no other device does- real-time timing monitoring.
