Iridium Spark Plug ????

Haven't tried the Autolites but a lot of the guys here use em!
I had a high speed miss on the dyno with the IR's and wanted to test my theory so we pulled em and swapped in the Coppers to keep it an apples to apples comparison.

The only reason I'm thinking about switching is I had a pretty hard run dusting a Honda Ricer last night...nice guy tho...he waved when he took the exit of the freeway.
Anyway, I hit boost again right after that and got the same high rpm miss that I thought was fixed from the re-gap. I remembered what you said about IR's can glow plug...backed off right away and let the motor cool off. Boosted about an hour later...no miss. I'm thinking the shorter plug change interval is worth it...pre-ignition is bad!

Just looked the NGK's up on their site...BCPR6ES is the stock plug w/ std heat range. NGK is backwards on the heat range...meaning BCPR7ES is one step cooler.

I'll definitely be using copper plugs. Every experience I have had says to stay away from iridium or platinum plugs for high boost applications.
