How Or can you re gap Iridium Spark Plugs ? They are gaped to .31 And I need to drop them down to .25 w/out messing them up....

ok...yes you can, if thats what your asking; you just need a gapping tool, unless your asking something else
IMHO I don't think you can. I think the irridium supposedly makes up for having the large gap.

Same thing as any other spark plug, just be careful, the electrode is a little more fragile than others but you should still be able to

i also did not gap mine, was told they came pre-gapped. course i am stock boost still with just exhaust and intake. but they are working fine for me.
like how high are we talking here? i am planning on running about 10-12 lbs. what should i gap them to then?jdub said:
I dont want to switch from irridiums because they do work good but I hope re gaping them will help..

Before I re-gapped mine to.027, 16-18 psi. IJ has mentioned that irridiums can glow plug on a hard run. I'm actually thinking about switching to the Autolite coppers.
I was getting blowout after 16 psi dropped the gaps and it was fine at 20 until I did a few sustained high speed pulls and it developed a high speed miss I think was the fine tip glow plugging.
