Same thing as any other spark plug, just be careful, the electrode is a little more fragile than others but you should still be able to

I didn't gap mine. Been in there over a year and no problems with them. I think it depends on what kind of power you are making. My set up is still very stock.

Before I re-gapped mine to.027, 16-18 psi. IJ has mentioned that irridiums can glow plug on a hard run. I'm actually thinking about switching to the Autolite coppers.

I come from a land down under
I was getting blowout after 16 psi dropped the gaps and it was fine at 20 until I did a few sustained high speed pulls and it developed a high speed miss I think was the fine tip glow plugging.

Glow plugging can cause pre-detonation as well...is that correct IJ?

What heat range are you using and gap? Think I've got a project to do tomorrow ;)
