I'm in the milldle of this myself.I have been taking my time tho.I did all the panels in the back half of my car and I used the duplicolor leather/vinyl dye and it came out ok but not good enuff for me so I'm going to do what he did for the dash, door panels and than go back and do the back panels. Now for the plasic stuff in the rear of the car I went with krylon semi flat black and it came out great. It's not glossy at all but it's not duel.It has a from the factory look to it(witch is what I'm going for)I would say do what he did for for the dyeing

The SEM paint products I used turned out very well. I got great adhesion and durability on all vinyl parts after using their vinyl prep. On plastics, I used their plastic prep, but did not use their plastic adhesion promoter, and found it scratched off very easily. So I redid the high-wear areas with the adhesion promoter and got much better results. Overall, the results are great, and you just can't buy a used interior that looks this new. There are some photos in my signature, but no close-ups of the paint finish.
