interference or non interference?

i have a question and i SWEAR i searched everywhere...i came from a nissan and im trying to purchase a 1989 supra turbo....i need to know if the 7MGTE is a interference or non interference motor.... ive asked my buddy who is a toyota mechanic...searched on here and the web....maybe i suck at searching so flame me if you must but could some1 please answer my question? thank you

The benefit of low compression engines built for turbos is that it's easy to make them non-interference.

As everyone else has mentioned so far, ours are noninterference. Most Toyota engines are, actually, although there are some notable exceptions.

Not only that, but the subject has been brought up in numerous other threads where that wasn't the main subject.

If nothing else, excess threads use up server space.

im sorry i honestly plugged in interference and it said no matches found...i came from b15sentra.net which is also vbulliten so i know to search b4 i ask...maybe i spelled it wrong, but i was in a hurry this afternoon and needed to kno so i could call tis guy about the car, otherwise i wouldnt have asked yet...he claims that the timing belt falied and i needed to kno which it was so i knew if it was worth it to even call... and like i said thanks for the answer and if its taking up server space moderators can delete this thread

atleast his was a reasonable question, unlike some of the other children out here who ask "covered" questions like what offset rims, my bov questions, or other stupid shit thats been covered sooo many times that spelling doesn't matter on the search since it's been covered enough times with enough different spellings that no matter how it was spelled it'd still turn up something......
