As stated earlier...... I'm going to make the 2jz plunge. It might take me a year to get my car going because of the costs involved. But I'm a big-time power junkie, and I know I'll want the displacement advantage. Plus, it's easy to pick up 2jz part CHEAP off sf. Lots of those guys are super rich and they don't mind taking a hit on their used stuff!!!! I have no shame in lowballing them further ;)

You would be surprised. Most of them bought cars they couldn’t afford and have huge credit card debt to support their hobby. There are some affluent people there but not as many as you would think. There are also some very affluent people here on SM as well. Don't associate MKIV and MKIII with income or social status :)
