I know some people who work at KW Automotive, and although they have already made a coilover for the MKIV, they want to know if there are any MKIII owners who would be interested if they were to make a system for the 3rd gen. Here are some links.

The ACR Viper was running with a KW suspension.

I told them that I was definitely interested, but they said they need at least 7 more people to want it too. Serious replies!

took a quick look at the V3 for the s2k was 2,000.... vendors have a hard time just selling megans and other 900-1000 coilovers...

and if somebody on here was going to spend 2k on suspension they would go and talk to our expert on here first (i would hope)

Does KW have shock dyno graphs for those coilover in reference to the MKIV?

What fundamental frequency are you using for the MKIII to get an idea of the spring to start with and tweak from there?

I see rebound and compression adjustability. How exactly do you know that the adjustability the KW offers with get your shocks spot (not close, I do not do close) on v. a set of custom valved Billstein setups that take all the corner weight of the Supra into consideration?

These are valid questions as the price puts them on par against a custom valved bilstein setup.

Read up on the mkIV ones at SF, it'll answer some of your Q's.
I think these will be a little more than the custom valved Bilsteins, but have the KW name (FWIW) and probably some extra bling (different materials)
I see these as a vehicle specific setup where Tim's are setup-specific (rates, weight, etc.)

Either would be great if you have the money and far beyond shelf setups, I really wish I did but I've got a very grassroots budget.

I'm not arguing that, custom valving to the car would be the best bet of all. I think this would be valved with a mk3 in mind but not specific to the actual car they're going on.

I'd love to have threaded Bilsteins, custom valved but my budget for this stuff outweighs the potential I can see in the car.
