Hey guys, I wanna get a serious interest for a Tanabe DP groupbuy. The downpipe is a 3" DP, straight back, has an EGT bung with cap for those who wise to hook up a gauge for exhaust temperature. The DP retails for $340 from Tanabe themselves, so realize it will be alot cheaper than that. Here is a picture:

the money is in dp/elbow combos imo...

is that full 3"? it looks 2.5 to 3" which would suck if you upgraded the elbow..

Im assuming you mean WBO2 instead of EGT bung?

If it is threaded for EGT probe, isnt it better to have the probe pre-turbo?

uh... EGT = exhaust gas temperature no? wouldnt make sense to have that pre turbo :p

I see your point. I just think that if you're doing a group buy, it would be for a part that a large group of people need. There are still thousands of MK3's with the "junk ass stock ct26s non sense" so if I were doing a group buy I would use something like I suggested.

if you have a probe for EGT that is pre turbo, than you are measuring intake temp. doesnt make sense :dunno:

edit: btw, im with tissimio, i would be looking for a DP/elbow combo.

he means pre-turbo as in the exhaust manifold, still reading exhaust temps....
