I was just curious, I hear that the stock intercooler is good to 400 hp, which is what i hear from a lot of people....we talking RWHP or BHP?

Ditto, if you're around 350-375 getting a new intercooler should put you close if now above 400. The reason being most any aftermarket intercooler you get will have less of a pressure drop than the stock one, i.e. more psi and cooler air to boot= more power.
I'm just in denial because that is pretty much next on my list.....I'm anticipating a result of 350 bhp on my next dyno run.
I don't plan on getting a new intercooler until I got ffim, which should be soon enough. I just don't want to fab up all the piping now for the (depending on turbo and how much boost) marginal gain.
The intercooler should come before a new turbo. The stock unit is a mass produced piece. It heat soaks quickly. If you do upgrade the turbo to a more efficient unit, you do not need it as bad as with a CT.
^^ Check out drift motion. They have a few for cheap under 200. and piping for under 200 thats under 400 total for parts.
don't waste your money on a IC until you're ready to do everything.... like IC hard pipes, FFIM (if you decide you want one best to get it now), BOV, upgraded throttle body, etc, etc.... this way you don't have to redo your pipes over and over again. I wish I got my FFIM at the same time as my IC, but oh well 
Is an FFIM really necessary to go over 500? I thought I saw some over-engine pipes hitting those power levels...
I will definately get the hardpipes with the intercooler theres no other way about that, and i already have a bov with an upper ic hardpipe (obviously, duh)
no a ffim is not needed for 500hp, neither is an exhaust manifold. but the car will run much more efficiently with them. like you can make 500hp at say 16psi instead of 20psi by changing both manifolds. this is why i'm changing both of mine now.
