This is interesting, i think i would rather use the windsheild washers than headlight washers, they seem to have some more power.

Pics anyone?

This sounds very interesting, a cheap way to make the intercooler more efficient and squeeze some extra power out of the supra. What do you all think, 10-20 whp gain by doing either the headlight sprayers or windsheild sprayers... Or how about this, BOTH windsheild and headlight sprayers?

I'm gonna do this until I get a co2 sprayer. I would probably just use it at the track before and after runs to try and keep intake temps down.

Nos, really, I dont have the nuts to spray that shit in the engine compt. That's scary. I'd go co2. Washer solvent is flammable also, but has a much higher flashpoint.

co2 on the other hand is even wores take up much needed fresh air

^yup, just don't spray at the track! Problem solved.

Edit: Just a FYI, I run Meth injection.. windshield washer fluid is 50% water 50% methanol, this helps keep my EGT's, detonation, and air intake temps down. I love it.. Its a similar idea. It is also 20% of my fuel at WOT.

aren't nitrous oxide and nitrogen different? a system set up to spray nitrogen would substantially cool the IC or the intake charge (IC) without any danger of igniting, i think. i didn't think nitrogen was flammable in itself, but maybe im wrong.

i'm going to run a CO2 sprayer on mine, yes it displaces O2 but if you move your car 10ft forward your going to be back in regular air but with a freaking cold intercooler. Why else would people blast thier IC's with CO2 fire extinguishers? Water spray works too...just remember like everyone said to keep it off the track.

oh, and N2O is an oxidizer...it won't just "blow up", long as you don't have a fire under your engine bay you should be alright if that's what your spraying.
