intercooler piping temp?

haha, that was also the 1st thing I noticed. Kind of fruity lights but I do like the guages in the glove deal you've got going on there!

Well as the intercooler's purpose is to cool the air I would assume that the temps after the intercooler would be lower than the temps before the intercooler.

All I need is a maximum temp for the whole intercooler piping....if I come up with a figure which is above the max temp then I will use this figure for my project. It would serve as a margin of safety for my design.

Play with a turbo calculator to see where you end up. The question is too vague to really answer, without at least some known input:

Underhood temps can be around 140F, so if you have an underhood filter, use that value. Turbo efficiency and boost pressure should be fairly obvious to guess at.

But 450F is probably not a bad value to use.
