A while back i saw a thread about parts from other cars that bolt up to the supra with little modification. The first obvious one is the rack from the mustang... I thought i remembered seeing something about the radiator from a ford tauras. Maybe i am losing my mind?

Has anyone ever heard of that? also if you have... what car? Install procedure and so on?

Thanks

Feel free to post up other parts that i have neglected to mention if there are any.

dual dsm fans fit perfect on the mk3 rad. little trimming but nothing major, and they cool great.

could those fans replace the clutch fan reliably??? anyone done this?

i replaced my clutch fan with dual dsm elec. fans. simple wire to a relay and they work great. they keep the car much cooler in the florida sun. they just happen to both be the same height and width as the stock radiator.

best $20 ever, thanks ebay!

yes, they can replace it and be reliable.

the cougar/contour fans are FAR superiour to DSM fans... and the DSM fans are pretty damn good. DSM fans move copious amounts of air. but another guy did a writeup on the contour fans and they fit the MK3 radiator very nicley. he said that just mockup mounting, he tested airflow thru the core. he was able to take a 1"x1" paper square and it would stay sucked to any place on the face of the core when the fans are running... even the top most corners.

i bought myself some of these fans off ebay for like 50 bucks... but i never got around to installing them. i will eventually though. need to get a thermostatic switch and such too.
