Intake Hardpipe (was: so....)

Damn! My cooleze pipe fits just fine, no trimming of couplers etc. Also, doesnt your cooleze pipe have a ring welded around it to make sure the couplers dont slip off? Least mine does. But if you look up above in my other pics, mine fit just perfect. Had to get new hoses though cause the old ones were dry/too short/cracked.

Yeah, it's got that ring on the lip, but the edge of the lip to the inner radius is probably less than a 1/4"...and the clamps are wider than that, so it doesn't seem like there's hardly anything for the clamp to bite. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten the thing on there before and it seemed to seal ok, but I just think it could've been designed better. The lack of surface area for seating/clamping is something I don't like.
