Looks like the coolese pipe. should work fine with stock turbo or any other turbo with a similar inlet size. For future referance a better, more descriptive title would be more helpful for future searchers.

Some people claim that stock according hose is restrictive and my changing it, you'll get quicker spool and won't have to worry about the rubber according hose getting cracks and all that.

Anyway i intend to get one... if that helps

HPS silicone air intake hoses or turbo inlet hoses are innovative product for which these induction hoses are constructed of a highly durable silicone that is multi-layered to produce a thick insulated tube that has a number of favorable characteristics. The thickness of the tubing, which is much thicker than the OEM piece, along with the silicone material, allow for an insulating affect that prevents the intake charge from increasing in temperature before it is introduced into the turbocharger or engine, for which prevent the heat soak problem which is common in most aftermarket air intakes.

During competition the engine bay has a number of heat sources such as the radiator, exhaust manifold and turbocharger itself that can drastically effect the temperature of the intake charge. In having a cooler initial intake charge before entering the turbocharger, the overall temperature of the intake system will be cooler and therefore prevent against such effects as pre-ignition and the engine management from retarding the ignition timing to prevent the detonation as well. The smooth construction of the inner-wall is a drastic improvement over the OEM piece which is often constructed in an "Accordianed" manner to allow for power plant movement. The smooth inner wall reduces any turbulence and restriction before the turbocharger and will often have a noticeable effect on the vehicle's performance with a lower spool-time, faster throttle response and a slightly louder intake note. The overall construction of the tube allows for much greater strength and durability, as well as adding a much cleaner aesthetic look to your engine bay. The outer most layer of the tube has been tested against most chemicals found in automotive applications and has a glossy-black outward appearance to remain subtle and yet appealing to the eye.

During our research & development on different intakes, we have found that inlet size and outlet size of the intake hose plays a vital role in the power production and air flow. With the inlet size bigger than the outlet size, the HPS performance silicone air intake hose produce the venturi effect that not just smooth out the air flow, but also increase the air velocity as well. Combing the venturi effect, consistent power gains, smooth air flow and OEM fitment, the HPS performance silicone air intake hose is easily the choice for tuner who wants the highly customized intake setup.

Here's some unique features of HPS performance silicone air intake:

* OEM Fitment
* Made of 4-Ply or 5-Ply reinforced high temperature silicone
* Venturi Effect for accelerating air velocity
* Temperature Range: -65F to 350F
* Max Presuure: 120 PSI

Looks good but I don't see a pipe justifying the $140 price tag for a piece of metal. It doesn't give any performance gain and just brings more attention to the small stock CT-26 IMO.

ok...here's your answer...
yes it looks good. i did purchase one. if you don't plan on running an AFM it's perfect, but you CANNOT fit an AFM and a filter. i had to blackmale the guy to get my money back cause it says no refunds. HOPE THAT HELPS!

I have read somwhere that these have ok fitment but its not flexible so taking it in or out might be a bit hard.

someone i kno had bought a cooleze pipe and ya had to trim the coupler to get it to fit right. but other then that, i don't really know if there was a gain but either way. I still intent to get one or have one made atleast.

The fitment -- or lack thereof -- of the cooleeze pipe is shitty at best. If you have your P/S res mounted in the stock location, it's damn-near impossible to get the pipe in there in the first place without removing the res.....and the coupler fitment sucks too....barely anything for the coupler to slip over, let alone the fact that the turbo inlet to pipe coupler has to be trimmed at an angle to get the pipe to fit half-way decently. I'm still debating on getting rid of mine or not....haven't decided yet. Whoever designed the cooleeze pipe really dropped the ball on design quality/fitment IMO.

^^

Damn! My cooleze pipe fits just fine, no trimming of couplers etc. Also, doesnt your cooleze pipe have a ring welded around it to make sure the couplers dont slip off? Least mine does. But if you look up above in my other pics, mine fit just perfect. Had to get new hoses though cause the old ones were dry/too short/cracked.

My friend hasn't had problems with it since he's had it on. But once she got it and put it on there was that "this motha****er is gonna work" moment. LOL good times good times

But either way, its a good thought to do atleast. that and imo looks a little better in the engine bay when modding.
