My insurance rates with the cars that I own or used to own.
Male at 17 years old: 86 toyota supra - $500 deductable with Geico liability for $1500 every six months.

At 20 years old: 2000 chevy s10 single cab. $500 deductable and liability with gieco. $2400 every six months with the supra.

--Lost my 86 supra and bought a 91 supra.
20 years old: 2000 chevy s10 and 91 toyota supra. Liability and $500 deductable. $2000 every six months with Geico.

--Lost my 91 supra and bought a 95 honda accord 4 banger.
21 years old: Chevy s10 and honda accord. Full coverage and $500 deductable with freeway insurance, $1200 every year.

Best company ive been with so far is freeway. I live in San Diego, California. Insurance rates have gone down a bit but still pretty high compared to the rest of the country. Good luck finding a good quote.

edit: ninja edit via roommate who owns the dual mk3s. :biglaugh:

I've been under my moms insurance, except this is my last month =\
My quote from Mercury Insurance in the city of Las Vegas was 200bucks a month for:

1999 Mercury Cougar
1987 Toyota Supra
20 year old female
19 year old me

Don't know if this is a good price or not, i'll be looking around

EDIT: Thats with us both being students + having a good driving rec

Damn Insurance! I don't use it even know the law says I HAVE TO.

That's waaaaay not cool.

What if you cause an accident (it could happen) and someone is hurt, and needs hospitalization? Do you want to be the guy that f's someone up like that?

If nothing else, you would be paying for that your whole life.

I'd re-vistit my decision to not have insurance if I were you. :nono:
