installing shift light

well like the title says, im installing a shift light, not the tach, but this is a adjustable shift light, and with this im making a two step with this, i have made couple two steps with shift lights, but what i need now is the wire that gives the RPM and the main wire on the coil pack that controlls the coil pack, like the main wire, any pics or respond will be appreciated, and ill post pics once im done with every thing too

could have it done today but, i guess no one knows where the rpm wire by the ecu or dash and the main wire for the coil packs, so im gonna have to look around my self, i just wanted to know if any one would have known from the bat, is there any ecu pin outs that any one has? i tried TSRM but i couldnt find nothing

i know this is a bit old but, i managed to do the home made 2 step, it does work too, and i actually managed to get 5psi at 3krpm, i dont have pics or video yet, but i will once i get my camera back, all you need is a small shift light, and a 5 pin relay to do the job, also, the CEL will turn on while the 2 step is on and doing the rev limit, but once you stop the cel will turn off. i also managed to do it at the ignitor. im sure you can also get it done by the ecu. and you can have this controlled by the clutch or a switch, and can start at 3k and up.

Homemade 2-step? Im interested... what parts were all needed?

a 5 pin relay from a dodge neon, or some of the old fords, or get one from the part store but wil cost around 5-10 bucks, and the relay that has the 86,85,87,30 and 87a, some wires and any type of tach that has a shift light, or just a plain shift light with the adjustable RPM, your gonna have to cut one wire and splice one wire, have it rigged up to the clutch switch to have it on or a switch. ill make a diagram, and ill take some pics soon.
