Installed evo injectors today

So today out in the 95 degree, 90% humidity, I decided it would be a good idea to install some evo injectors I just picked up.

Not much to it, just alot of disassembly, cutting, soldering, heat-shrinking, and reassembly.

Getting started:

I found that 3 of my 6 injector clips were busted, so that they weren't positive-locking.

Took about 3 hours in the heat, to cut, splice, solder, heatshrink, and sleeve-cover all of the injector wires. I know alot of people are completely successful just using butt connectors and calling it a day, but I wanted the wiring to be in better condition than what I was removing.
New connectors:

The only issue that I had, was that the #1 injector clip was hitting some of the head casting, due to it's larger size, so I removed the small bracket that limits the rotation of the #1 injector, and dremeled about 1mm of the lower edge of the fuel rail away, and it solved the problem:

Started up on the very first attempt, and idles/ revs great. Now I have to tune the MAFT in order to take advantage of these.

Very nice. I found my injectors all hit the casting so I angled them all downward below the fuel rail- makes for an 'interesting' look with the loops of wire I added in anticipation for a possible tuck...

Nice clean look you've got there!

Actually, I was going to tuck it all underneath, but wasn't sure it'd fit that way. Now I know. :)
Oh, and I got these injectors for only 208 shipped, and they guy told me that four of the injectors were brand new and I believe it by the looks. Plus they all came with a new seals and o-rings.

Depends on whether is still makes contact and sits in there without coming loose.

Does it seem smart to you to use a broken 6$ or less clip?

Injector ckip coming loose at 6k rpm wouldnt be good.......

Thanks.
I also noticed that the car starts alot faster now; used to take like 4-5 seconds of cranking.
Now it only takes 2. I was thinking that my fuel pump's checkvalve was bad because I'd always lose rail pressure after shutdown, but now I'm wondering if I had an injector or two leaking?
