Installed "bolt on" lambo doors. Pics!

Ok here ya go. First off it was NOT direct bolt on. But it wasnt that hard either. but im tired so ill let the pics explain themselves. any question jut ask ill be on later to post replies.

Overall i am pleased. they lift very easily and they have more than enough room for me to get in and out of the car and im not a small guy. Well i said ill do it and i did. lol

I did its in the background on the hoist. i was waiting on a flywheel i just got in today.:icon_bigg

Actually it holds well. I can basically put the doors at any height and the stuts hold strong. I even seasawed the car to see if the would flop down, and they held!

The cost me $899 to my door step. And to be honest im not sure of the wieght capacity. But if they go out i get new ones free.

Have you tried it with the door panel on yet? When I was looking at doing this, there was a clearance issue with the panel and the A-pillar.

Yeah i planned on taking them to a machinist to see if they could replicate them. They look very simple in design.

Yes and no. It does bolt right up but it looks to me as its a kit from another car that was modified to fit our door hinge patern.

Thanks. Um as far ass the loom i tapped it up and i plan on heat shrinking it or something but as of now it doesnt get caught up on anythin or pinched.

the driver door is a little of but thats because the instructions told me to hand tighten the bolt then lift the door to make adjustments butwhen i did this the entire hinge slide around. The passengr side is perfect.

i bought them from jt autostyle for 899.

The only clearence issue is with the fender it needed to be rolled a hair but its cool.

the hinges look to be stainless 304. If that is the case. My guess that each weigh in at probably around 40 lbs. That guess is based on thickness (my guess, about 1/4") and the total area. So 80 lbs addition. Looks good though.

Did they come modified from JT Autostyle? Did you just call them and ask for MKIII Supra hinges (I don't see them in their site). If not, what is the 'other car' that they're from?
