As far as insomnia goes, I've been kinda like that since I moved from Washington a bit over a month ago. I was still stuck on PST time, but I was going to bed at 6am EST and tossing and turning to 8am and then sleeping to 1pm or so. I am still having a very hard time getting to sleep, I have to force myself to go to bed before 3am EST. Oh, and masturbation does help a little bit, at least for me anyway, but I usually get very weird dreams afterward :aigo:
Things that get me sleepy: warm milk (preferably in hot chocolate), reading in a hot bathtub full of lavendar bubble bath (lavendar is very good for causing drowsiness I've noticed)
I had real insomnia a couple years back and tried a lot of the OTC sleep meds, and they usually only worked for one or 2 nights and then I can't sleep again
I may be lookng into Lunesta soon
