Its alright, you could get some more angle and longer drifts but GT4 has kinda shitty throttle response I understand, as far as pedaling the throttle.

What suspension settings?

I dunno the suspension settings. I never played gt4, only 1-3. I do agree forza is better imo but I still respect gran turismo since it came out before forza.

Yea slam that thing (not all the but like 80-85%), get a 1 way LSD and crank up the rear spring rate, increase the rear sway bar all the way, leave the front sway bar a little better than the middle, same with the springs. Crank in a ton of rear camber and a conservative amount of front like 1.2-1.8 deg or so and you will be able to steer that thing with your right foot (er thumb) all day long.

If you learn how to tune suspension on a real car, there isn't one KID that can beat you at GT. Kids don't know how to set up cars. I whup every little kid that thinks they rock at GT. A couple of races and the kids are asking me "Hey what did you do to your car to make that corner?" Its been a few years since I played, but I was so impressed that the programmers took the time to make the game and the vehicle dynamics very much like the real world. I love that game.

Amen. While making the 4th, they timed more than a dozen factory cars through sections of Nurburgring and kept tweaking the game's dynamics until the lines matched up perfectly along with the times. I believe 0.01 was their initial goal, but later settled for 0.1 seconds for some cars. About 30 seconds sections.

Forza is ok, I own both. GT4 seems to have a much more real feel to it though. I can powerslide for miles in Forza without losing control. GT4 requires some tuning and throttle/steering precision.

I love GT4 :)

You guys seen the previews for GT5 yet? That game is going to be the SHIT. Of course its for the PS3.Graphics are insane and a new console steering wheel/pedal combo is comming out as well. The shifter will be a 6speed pattern instead of the old sequential style. Oh and there will be a CLUTCH pedal and if you sucks at driving a 5peed you can stall the car out..I cant wait.

Damn, I bought a ps2 for gt4 alone and now it looks like I'll definitely be needing a ps3 for gt5. Polyphony ALONE has FORCED me to spend close to 700 bucks on playstation stuff to date, looks like they can tack on another 600-1000 bucks.

If I had to choose a game to play for the rest of time, it would easily be Gran Turismo.

God, I'm a dork.

Why wait for GT5? Forza 2 is out now and yes, the MKIII is in there. The car comes with 2.0 TT, but you can swap in a 7M-GTE, or 2JZ. There is even a Do-Luck version available.

Because its a better simulator, IMO. Forza is fun as well, I have the first, but Gran Turismo is its very own beast. :)
