Hey everyone well I think one or two of my injectors is clogged or not working properlly as it should.

So first quwstion is there a way to check the injectors,
and second I'm planning on going to the junk yard later and was wondering what other cars would have injectors that would fit my car I have an
88 7mgte by the way with a 60-1, fmic, f-con, fcd, 2.5in piping, walbro, intake, hks bov.

So the reason I think this is because if I'm just cruising barely touching the gas my afr guage stays between the red and yellow but if I give it a quick jolt of boost it wont jump immideitly but as soon as the boost starts getting to about 8lbs it will jump to the green.

So last question is this normal or is there a problem.

thanks
Michael

First of all FCD=FAIL. Fuel cut is there to protect your motor. Leave it alone. Your going 60-1 ct, so I can only imagine your gonna want to turn up the boost. Forget about stock injectors, now is a good time to upgrade to Lex afm/550's or MAFT Pro speed density.

FCD+stock injectors+more boost=Terrible things.

You can have injectors flow tested, however I dont see the point, because even if they flow to spec, you still need to upgrade.

Well I've been told by alot of people that if you run an fcd with an f-con setup is should be fine because it changes the fuel maps.

Anyways I tested the ressistance on all the injectors and most were around 3.4 and 3.2.

I also tested my afm and this is the one worrying me.

I jusmped e1 and ks and its supposed to be between 5-10kOhms but for some reason it reads about 865ohms does this mean my afm is screwed up or what mabye I'm reading it wrong not sure but I got my multimeter in the ohm section on 2000 and it reads 865 so shouldnt it be higher or what.

It's fine with the f-con (and it's how it's meant to be run).

It sounds like you have one of those AFR gauges that connects to the stock O2 sensor, right? It's not much more than a light show, you need a true wideband to know what's really going on.

True I do need a wideband and yes all I have is that gay bouncing light it sucks.

But what do you think about the afm.

Can't tell you as it's not my area of expertise. Got the TSRM page?

Yeah I understand guess Im just waitin for someone else to chime in.

Yes I have the tsrm page and it tells me what it should be and it's not but just wanted to make sure I wasnt doing it wrong or reading it wrong possibly.

Because it lists it at 5-10k ohms doesnt that mean 5000-10000ohms cuz mine reads out about 865 for some dam reason or am I just retarded and doing it wrong.

Thanks
Michael

All I see is this... http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=FI&P=96

Depends on temp and IIRC it's only testing the temp sensor not the actual karmen vortex. Think you need a scope for that...

Well if you look in the haynes manual thay jump e1 and ks aswell and supposed to be in the 5-10k ohm and these have nothing to do with the temps you will these labled on the page you listed.

thanks for the help though
Michael

I mean it drives alright but It just worries me that I'm starving it of fuel.

Hmmmm, don't see that spec in the TSRM, and I've seen the Haynes manual be completely wrong as it covers MKI, MKII, and MKIII...

Yeah I dont see it on the tsrm I mean the haynes manual has the one listed in the tsrm aswell as the one I mentioned it has a chart that allows you to check like three different ressistances it.

So I'm not sure
