injector order

how do i know my injector plugs are plugged into the right injectors. i got the vacuum lines all together and now its surgeing to almost dies to running fine. it will also backfire or pop thhrough the exhaust and smooth out when you hold the gas

K ill check that could that be part of the problem of why its surging so bad

what rpms does it smooth out at?

have you checked for codes?

Yes i messed with the firing order an it is right it was wrong and didn't run at all i think i got the vacuum lineS right now too. It pops and spits when you push the gas but then it will backfire and run good at about 2000 orso rpms and then it will surge real bad at idle like almost to the point of dieing and then evens out for a sec then strats to almost die etc.. I think it the computer trying to keep the timing but i thought if i had some injectors plugged wrong then that might be it. Ii don't know how to check the codes though the engine light is not on but it did come on once. It ran good when i parked it to pull the motor for the rod knock. Good news is the knock is gone and the build was good

this may sound stupid but is the afm plugged in?

yes the afm is plugged ing and i've tried jiggleing it and plugging it in and un plugging it several times can i have those tested

i don't want to take it to a mechanic it got to be somthing simple
