Injector order question

I'm trying to put he harness back on my 7MGE and need a little help determining which injector connectors go where. I looked at my Haynes manual and it looks like it says:

Cyl1 : White/light blue Yellow
Cyl2: White/light blue Yellow
Cyl3: white/red blue
Cyl4: white/red blue
Cyl5: white red
Cyl6: white red


Cyl 1 is front (pulley side)

Colors refer to wire colors on harness. I tried this order and it doesn't seem to make sense, some on the wires seem to have to be stretched and cross over others.

Harness/motor is an 88
Is that order right?

while you are at it you might want to replace the injector o-rings and the cushions. Cheap and easy to do.

Truth. Use some Vasoline or petroleum jelly of some sort to lube the o-rings before you insert them. (The TSRM recommends using gasoline, but the chance of tearing one is still high) When they're in the fuel rail, the injectors should still rotate freely. Don't overtorqe the rail, and don't forget the spacers, either.

If I remember correctly, torque spec on the three bolts for the fuel rail is 13 ft/lbs.
