Hello again,

Well today I decided I would go to Country Hills Toyota here in Calgary, Alberta. The home of the 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo with 92 kilometers on it. The pictures that were posted did not even come close to give the car justice. It was beautiful. By far the nicest car I've seen in a long time. Everything was perfect. Apparently it runs and has no leaks, everything is well lubricated. The guy whom bought it 18 years before picked it up from the dealership with a trailer and parked it at his home for the next 18 years. Apparently he would drive it forwards 4 feet and back a couple times a month to make sure everything stayed in working condition. I guess he bought it for around 38 thousand dollars in hopes of it growing in value. It unfortunatley did not. Just recently he sold it back to the dealership. The salesman said that when he was giving over the keys he was full of tears and very disapointed. The guy never was able to enjoy the car and now it sits as a perfect MK3. The dealership is asking 50 thousand dollars for it but they have no intention of selling it for cheaper because the owner of the dealership wants to hold on to it for another 10 years. Unfortunately I was not able to sit in it because it is locked up tight. I can not stress the beauty of this car enough. It is very well maintained still as a mechanic comes in monthly to make sure that all fluid levels are correct and it is in perfect running condition. The car is very impressive and makes me love my car even more haha. The car looks as if it was sucked right from 1990 and placed in that showroom. Such a cool car. I was very pleased to finally see it in person. Just thought I'd post up what I had learned about it. Sorry if its a repost I searched and found nothing.

Yes well I was not aiming to post the car as I had guessed it had already been done so, but more tell about how prestine it is in person and the story behind it. Has someone already told that? I don't think that that infomation is a repost. Just thought it was neat information and thought I'd pass my knowledge onto you folks. Thats all.

Thats exactly what I said haha. If I won the lottery that would be my first purchase. I wonder how different the ride would be one that car as opposed to one thats been driven. Probably much tighter. Brand new car. I just think its a shame that that old guy never got to enjoy his car. Cars are ment to be driven not sit around. But in another sense it's neat to see one new.

To the guy posting the previous thread I understand it was already posted i just wanted to throw out some background information on the car and say that I was fortunate enough to see it. I don't know if the guy whom purchased it had a lot of money as he gave it up to the dealership before it gained money. The salesmen said he could have been short on money. Anyway I feel that he actually really liked the car as he was crying as he gave it back to the dealership. Oh well haha. Anyway thanks for the replies.

He was keeping it as a "investment" but either he ran out of money and had too sell it or he just couldn't keep it because of medical issues. Honestly I have no idea why he wouldn't just drive it. Oh well. I also don't understand why he was so sad if he bought it just to flip it later. He grew attached I guess.
