There are alot more pics already posted under midwest regional, but I thought I would post my pics here (along with some colorful commentary) for those that haven't kept up with the Indy2k9 thread.

We started Saturday morning gathering at the Kroger parking lot awaiting our fearless leader to guide us to O'Reilly Raceway for the meet:

An enthusiastic bunch that didn't get much sleep and obviously were expecting warm weather:

After getting lectured by the local cops, we took off from Kroger to O'Reilly Raceway for the meet. Pretty cool seeing 22 Supras filling up all three lanes of I-465. Sorry, no pics of that, was too busy driving ;)

After a quick pit stop at the local gas station due to (what else?) possible leaking head gasket, we made it to the raceway and set up. Note the Supra sign posted. It disappeared soon after this pic was taken:

A local shop setup a dyno at the Raceway. Here's the first car I saw when I walked up (620hp):

I think 23 cars made it to the meet. I believe every single one of them was a targa and every single one of those targa tops stayed in the car! We had one MKIV, no MKIIs. An MKII was spotted in the Kroger parking lot though. Roughly half the cars were from out of state. Back to pics:

Alot of Supras dyno'd thanks to Jeff's power of persuasion to get a half price deal. One suffered a blown coolant hose on the intake manifold that due to its location was a PITA to repair. The car with the possible leaking head gasket also dyno'd without coolant :aigo:

Before leaving the Raceway, all the now frozen drivers posed with their cars. Gotta love that white car in the corner ;)

And then Crisp got a hold of my camera, and here's what I found on it when I got home (an artistic interpretation of the event??):

Then, following our leader Jeff, we headed to the local pizza joint:

A Supra had to be jacked up at the restaurant to get a tire replaced. Don't have a picture, we all know what that looks like already ;)

Most everyone went their separate ways after dinner. A few of us hit the south side for cruising. We got booted by the cops from the local cruise-n-hangout at where else but the Burlington Coat Factory. There was another cruise scheduled for Sunday, but I had to scoot out Sunday morning to spend Mother's Day with my daughter. Overall a great meet, dry weather, lots of cool cars, and thanks to Jeff for putting it all together! And thanks to the Indy Supras for letting a chick cruise with them Friday night. Great fun, hope to see everyone at Chi2k9!

haha no one got a pic of me having to replace my tire?? wow... yea after i got that spare on... i started driving and got about 10 min away and i heard the other rear tire leaking air every time it hit a certain spot... so i pulled over got air drove another 10 miles pulled over got air drove again.. pulled over got air drove again... then boooooooommmmm the tire damn near exploded :aigo: :icon_evil so here i am on the side of 465 with a blown tire and my spare on the front. = FAIL... had to call matt and have him bring me a sawblade and a jack... lol

i now look like a drag car with 225/45/17 monsoons in the front and 225/60/16 sawblades in the rear.. lol

It was a great turn out overall. As for all the Supras being targas...my bro's Supra is a hardtop (FTMFW) ;). I'm pretty sure there was another hardtopper and another that had a moon/sunroof. Sorry, I just have an eye for roofs hahaha.

Look at whats peeking out of the back... During the dyno run the tire rubbed like an SOB on the fender and smoked like crazy! But the owner decided to do the other two runs anyways...

Thanks for looking! I'll be posting more pictures of a Dallas Supra meet coming this weekend if you guys would like. A lot more MK4s there with some crazy setups.

And Scott had a sunroof. Would've loved to have a picture of all the cars with their roofs off - thats what gives them such a unique look!

Great pics of the 465 drive Scott - I want copies of those too!! Your car is awesome. I really want to get another burgandy 87/88. Such a fab color!
