Alright, So...ONE of the days is officially going to be Saturday, May 9, 2009.

With that being said, would everybody rather have the 2nd day on Friday or Sunday?

For most 9-5 working people, I'll assume you'd rather have Sunday.
But I'll likely soon create a poll to vote on the date (as usual).

if most people actually showed, the indy meet would turn into a pretty major event.
you've got plenty of time, dont wait til the last min, I'd love to go to a meet, with all of our cars there (dave, matt, jeff, steve, me, andy) I dont think in the history of meets this has ever happened lol lets do it!!

I can be there as well as my son in his SC300 Sat & Sun May 9th & 10th. I'll have to work on Fri. the 8th so I'll drive up late that night or Early Sat.

I'll most likely be taking a half day that Fri to give a good once-over to everything and have a fun drive up there, check in, etc. then be ready to live it up.

We had a Springfield, MO meet where we had about 6 states represented... On Fri nite we all gathered up, kicked rocks in the lot for a bit, then went out racing on the local spots, and a crazy hardcore hotel party followed lol.

Sat morning, those that wern't hungover did dyno day, then we had a big lunch, cruised to some places for lots of pics, then did a big cruise all over.

Sunday ended up being a 'who is still here, lets hang til whenever' day and everyone was gone by 3 at the latest.

Whatever day we are doing it! Now if someone else needs a place to stay and your out of room matt i dont HAVE to stay, ill sacrifice my spot for someone

K...Gonna have to clean up this thread a bit since I've been getting phone calls/complaints that they don't know what's going on because 95% of this thread is cluster#@!$ and BS and can't find the important information.

On that note, I'll begin updating the first post with a list of current attendee's and latest updates on itinerary/events for the weekend.

But for ones reading this current post...

Indy2k9 will officially be May 9th and 10th, 2009.
So...Don't wait until the last minute!
Get these days requested off of work immediately because I don't want to hear any excuses this year!!! :biglaugh:

Thread cleaned up a bit, and plan to keep Post#1 with most recent updates.
Also, I'll soon begin the "List of Attendee's" on Post#1.

I will be there for both days. What about hotels for those staying the night, any suggestions for a good one?? If enough of us stay at the same hotel we might get a pretty good rate. Just a thought.

Since this is going to officially be a 2 day event...

Once we get a bit more confirmed on the locations of which we dyno,
Then I'll begin to plan accordingly for good hotel rates/locations.
