I vote for 600rr...forget lawn mower engines

very few things different on a motor from an rr series bike(if any at all), they're usually suspension, gearing etc... power is usually identical to it's counterpart in the r series

This is too gay to be happening. Serious discussion of turbocharging a lawn mower motor

why is that? it's already being done and it works pretty well, the turbos come off of a piece of farm equipment (not sure what it's called) and it's a little bit bigger than a fist

I'm not debating that, it's just silly to think about.

depends on your view i guess. but the same thing can be said about putting a turbo on a jetski, or a car, or a motorcycle...

some of us just love to build stuff

Nah man, I'm not knocking it. It's just silly to think about. I'd love to give it a try if I could fab up the manifold and stuff

A guy i went to high school with, built a custom 4-wheeler for racing. He made a custom frame, used a 600cc motor and a turbo off a dodge 2.2. It was very very nice, he had alot traction problems so it didn't have a good 1/4 time. But it did get him a scholarship to UK Engineer program.

thats a sweet bike

ty, i've got another identical one on the way to rebuild and with this possible mustang i'm thinking about just doing another turbo stang, except injected rather than blow through carb. we'll see.. i'm contemplating giving up on the supra for the time being once i get the motor back i still need another couple thousand$ to get the tranny reworked and everything back in the car. hopefully i will have time this week to get the interior out of the way so we can put a 8 point cage that'll pass 9 second tech this week or next.

too much stuff to do, not enough time to do it in

anyone around here have a set of eagle rods for sale? used if good price i'm interested, i have to get a set this week so we can get the engine done. i've been procrastinating for 2 months building that bike and gotta get back in gear on this thing

probably end up having to buy a new set from someone. seen they were only $450 so it's not a bad price, but i'm always up to save a few bucks :D
