increased rev limiter

I looked into getting my rev limit increased by the racerjake mod a few months ago. Before the site went down we had asked specific questions if this mod would work for all supras. We never received a reply.

There seemed to have a problem of it working on some ECU's, but we never got to the bottom of the matter.

Has anyone tried this that can chime in? If so please state the year of your vehicle along with your observations before and after you had this done.

A friend of mine had it done. It worked perfect on his '88.

<sigh> but yea i was looking for mild increase in revs...like 7000 would be a nice round number i figured.
