Well good news kind of. The guy who was supposed to buy my car yesterday needs to wait a week for his loan. He works all day Saturday so I will have my car this weekend. Hurray! In other news it looks like the car is most likely sold to someone local :<.

In the link in the first post, it says that it is from 9:30-2:30 on Saturday. If that's the case, I'm going to have to get up pretty early.

Last time we did this, it took about an hour to get through the gates. You either have to get there very early or late. What do you guys from around birmingham want to do?

If its over at 2:30 I am hosed! I have to work until 12:00 cause I forgot to put in notice that I needed off. Was gone a week for honeymoon and forgot. I cant get there until at least 2:00pm... :cry:

Dammit there's talk around work that we may be working Saturday as well. I missed the Shootout last year too. :<

You guys fail..............we've only known about it for a few months now. After the Steele meet, George and I and another supra owner I met are going to Bama dragway at 8:00 p.m. There should be some good racing up there. Aaron, Bama dragway is in Sumiton Al, 35148. Try to make it if you can. Patrick, tell them you can't work. They won't fire you, I promise.

How organized is this event in terms of getting in and parking? I know it's going to take a while to get in with all the cars, but are they going to have it set up so all Supras go one way, and all 350Z's go another way, etc? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but this is going to be my first car show. I'm not going to be racing, just entering the car show, but more than likely I'll watch the races.

And this damn weather here is messing stuff up. I'm trying to get my wheels finished up and painted today so I can put them on tomorrow and it's raining and wet everywhere. And tomorrow I need to get my car washed and waxed and it's supposed to rain sometime tomorrow too. At least Saturday is supposed to be fine.

I don't know how organized it is going to be, but I'm sure everything will be fine. I don't know what George's plans are, but I'm going to do pretty much whatever he wants to do since he's driving from Gulfport Ms. If he wants to enter the car show then that's what we'll do. We'll see you there for sure though. Give me a call if you want to meet up and follow each other.

We will be parking in the gates since it's a supra meet. The camaros and mustang gt's will be parking in the grass if they're not racing.

I got someone to cover for me the last four hours of my shift, so I can leave Huntsville area at 8:00am and head that way. I will limp my running for crap, half primer, MKIII down there though. LOL :3d_frown: At least I will get to spend some time with some of you guys.. Looking forward to meeting some new people, and seeing the ones I know again..( suprahero,Vixen, and dirtlord420 )

Well guys, I won't be able to go to the show. Really disappointing as I really wanted to go and trying to get it put together. I repainted my wheels and was ready to go and went to have them put on and fixed today for the show tomorrow and apparently the tires were dry-rotting inside. Earliest they can get in tires is Tuesday. I guess I'm fortunate that it was found today before driving the 300 miles to and from, definitely would have been awful for it to go on the highway, but I had been looking forward to attending this since it was posted.

So I hope you guys have a lot of fun and take pics, and hopefully there will be another kind of meet for us around here soon.

Jason, you won't be the only one there that is NA. I'm hoping Jacob from Adamsville is going to show up. He's got a good looking 1990 NA.
