Here is an email that I received. It looks like a good time for all. I won't be attending the road coarse, but I will be going to the dragracing. Here are the details.

Hey everyone! Jeremy Blackwell from Speed For Sale LLC here with a quick newsletter to give everyone a 'heads-up' about a new bi-yearly (spring and fall) Supra / RX7 / 300ZX / Skyline event hosted by www.SpeedForSale.com with over $1300 in cash prizes... Friday, Oct. 19 I have rented the road course 'Little Talladega' (www.TGPrace.com) with everyone getting a FREE experienced instructor to ride along with them all day for only $125/car (paypal sales@speedforsale.com, waiver will be posted soon) with 40 spots available. Our last road course event booked up all 40 spots FIVE WEEKS before the event, so register now if you want to enter!
Also, with the insurance we purchased we do have authorization from Talladega to go ahead and 'officially' time laps for the top run group(s) if we choose to do so. So, we may go ahead and give a cash prize to the fastest lap of the day as well. If we do so, it will be toward the end of the day when there is ALWAYS 'free time'. This is the time when 90% of the entrants are done beating on their cars and stop, and you have one small run group that runs at will. We'll then choose the top 3 Supra/RX7/Skyline/300ZX that we've noticed are running the fastest and have them all do a individual 3 lap session (warm up and 2x timed laps) and the fastest solo timed lap wins. This will only take about 25-30 minutes or so, and it won't dig into anyone's track time!

Saturday, Oct. 20 will be at Steele 1/4 mile drag strip ($15/person) with a mobile dyno ($50/car) and car show (FREE) in the parking area! Also, there will be a $50 raffle for every Supra, RX7, 300ZX, & Skyline in attendance (even if you don't participate!) Dragstrip website here: www.AlabamaInternationalRaceway.com

We will offer CASH prizes ($200 1st place, $100 2nd place, $50 3rd place) for the best Supra/RX7/300ZX/Skyline's in these areas:
- quickest 1/4 mile time
- fastest 1/4 mile MPH
- Top 3 highest horsepower cars on the dyno
- Top 3 cleanest / best put together cars in the car show
- $50 raffle ticket given to EVERY Supra, RX7, 300ZX, & Skyline that comes through the gate at the dragstrip, even if you don't participate!

The hotel is a NICE NEW Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ($84/night) that is just off the interstate 1.5 hour west of downtown Atlanta in Pell City, Alabama, and only 25-30 minutes away from both the dragstrip and road course. This will be a very easy drive for everyone to the hotel and all events!

Instead of doing another 'Supra Shootout' event, we have decided to host an event for any Supra, RX7, 300ZX, & Skyline! We will also allow ANY car model to run at the drag strip and dyno as time permits. Also, any road course spots not filled 45 days before the event will be open to ANY car model. Sounds great as in you're coming, or sounds great as in Aaron will be thinking about this on his wedding day? I'd love for some of the Florida guys to show up. There's going to be a hundred 350z's and 300zx's, but I bet there's only six or seven MKIII's.

I'm very interested in coming to this. I won't be doing any racing, but I'd like to be in the car show and watch others race.

I'm guessing the $15 for the drag is to enter right? How much just to watch?

Usually, it's ten to get in and fifteen to get in and race. I will definately be racing, unless I blow it up next weekend at the Chicago meet. Tell all your friends about it and lets have a big turnout.

All surrounding states are more than welcome.

I definitely want to come to this and fortunately it is not too far away from me. I only have seen maybe a handful or so of Supra's since I moved down here 4 years ago, none on a regular basis, so it will be nice to see.

I love, I mean love 92 supras. Hopefully you will be there and not have an excuse not to show up. We really need a goot turnout of MKIII"s. I bet there will be 100 350z's. I'm going to try and get a few Nashville people to show up and maybe some Atlanta and others that are within a few hours away. See you there.

As long as I don't have any other immediate concerns, I plan on coming.

I'd like to get my dad to come along too. He's the original owner of my 92. And before that, he had either an 87 or 88 Supra that he traded in to get the 1992.

Hopefully by October, I'll have some of the plans I want for my car finished. Nothing major really, but I want a leather kit for my seats and some wheels.

Okay, I have changed my wedding day! Hows that for a Supra Fan! I will be at Steele now. I can't wait. I might even bring both my Supra's. Not sure yet though. Just keeping this thread alive. Hopefully we can have everyone bring out their MKIII's and MKII's. I know we will heavily outnumbered but we need to represent as well as possible. Hopefully Forcedtorque and Jdub and a few other southern supras can make it. Maybe PHoenix and a few other Atlanta people will come as well. I've got a few friends from Nashville that I'm hoping will make it. I think they will. Tell everyone you know.

I had wanted to bring my dad (original owner) to the meet, but he has a damn conference that ends the day the meet is so he won't be able to come. I still plan on coming, granted I don't have work or something else necessary. If I do and can't get out of it, I'm going to be so pissed.

You have plenty of time to get the day off now. It's on a saturday. Tell them that you will be out of town on October 20, and that you won't be available for work. It's really that simple...................:biglaugh:

Scott, I know it's a four hour trip for you, but it's going to be fun and we need all the MKIII's that we can find to show up. Hopefully Jmoney can make it as well. Tell all of the southern southern guys to try and make it.
