So as of 11/16, I'm without a job. Now, this is actually a good thing. The company I worked for, because they liked me, decided to give me about a month and a half warning, so I could prepare.
So, I'm going back to school, but this time I'm going for Auto Tech. One of the community colleges near by has a very good program, and to make it better, the severance package I was awarded pays for the first year of tuition. AND one of the new unemployment programs will allow me to collect unemployment for up to two years (the amount of time it will take me to complete the program) without having to look for a job while being a full time student.
Top that all off with my having moved in with a few of my best freinds a few months ago, PLUS a garage, the supra finally coming home, AND a new engine to put in next spring... and this is shaping up to be a REALLY good year.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share the good news!
