I just bought an 88 Turbo from my fiance. I drove it ONCE before the alternator took a crap, and now my fiance has taken it upon himself to take the 500hp built motor out of my 88 and swap it with the stock GTE out of his 91 (not happy!) It needs work--a new alternator for sure--and is definitely nothing special, but its mine and I can't wait to get it back up and running.

First off, I would cry if he made me switch cars. Although his 91 has the newer body style, it is in HORRIBLE condition. Like, seriously, why do people let their Supras get THAT bad?? It has clear coat peeling all over, the leather seats have more of the ugly yellow foam sticking through, than the actual leather, there are more interior pieces missing to list, and to make it worse, he spraypainted his wheels BLACK. He can keep his car. LOL.

Secondly, yes, the Supra was one of the deciding factors in why I decided to give him a shot. We had graduated together, and I always thought he was a nerd in high school lol. He has an insanely fast single turbo 98 and a 91 Turbo, and then now I have the 88. It's going to be nice to finally be the driver of a Supra instead of just a passenger--that crap gets old!

And I will post pics of myself (because theres nothing hotter than a girl in a Supra, right? lol) but I'm warning you, I'm no Jessica Barton....

On a funny note, the fiance pulled the 500hp out of my white car to put in his red one only to be told by our local machine shop (?) that the motor needs a new head. That sucks...at least the motor coming out of his 91 is good (minus leaky cam seals, which are being fixed) LOL

So that thing in the above pictures ( not you of course ) is pushing out 500 Hp? From where might I ask? That motor looks bone stock. The Supra I am getting here in about 3 weeks, has over $15k worth of HKS shit on it, running 2 bar of boost.....you can tell it is not even close to stock..... In order for that motor in the pics above to be pushing 500......he must be working some strange magic.....lol. Or is that the donor engine from his red one?

(if that is the motor that came out in the pics) Shit it is a work out for a upgraded ct26 to even reach 400 hp. Its not 500hp....the guy just tried selling me bullshit lines to buy the car. The car has a stock ct26 on it, it had a MAFT PRO, stock injectors, upper ic piping w/ bov, hks mhg, ARPs, and a built bottom end with JE .040 over pistons and Eagle rods w/ ARP's, ACL bearings, yada yada. I'm unsure what I'm going to do now actually. The car drives so nice how it is I actually for once, don't want to mod it. I've got my 1300hp mk4 supra for that. I'll just put ARP's and a MHG on it and just make it look nice. As far as her engine, which needs a new head, I think I'm just going to find her a stock longblock and part this built engine out.

APPARENTLY, the guy that he bought it from had it put on the Dyno and it made 500 hp. I don't know--I was there the night he bought it and heard him and the guy he bought it from were exchanging all this Supra engine talk that I did not understand AT ALL. Something about eagle rods and pistons, bigger injectors, blah, blah, blah. There are pics of it when it was in my car and then after it was taken out. It had low compression on some cylinders, so apparently whoever built it couldn't have been that qualified, since it was a newer build. I think I made out in the long run though with my bone stock 91 engine because all I have to do is wait for the swap to be done and get in and drive. He's gonna be stuck tearing apart the other motor for the rest of the summer. And he can't drive his MKIV because he ripped the tranny out and tore it apart. Looks like hes gonna have to be passenger in MY Supra this summer

Gee, I dunno, maybe the reason I don't have pics of myself at 16 is because I'm almost positive that those wouldn't have been an accurate portrayal of myself. I'd like to think I've grown up a lot since 2000. Just a thought....

Another thing, coming onto a forum to brag about and offer up naked pics of your fiance onto a forum full of testosterone, is probably a tad bit inappropriate. Instead of coming in here and trying to be funny, you should be spending more time working on that tranny of yours so that you can actually come on here and have something worth bragging about. Just another thought.

And maybe making you sleep on the couch might be an option, if you actually stopped caring about your cars long enough to stop working on them and actually come home. That is all.
