I always thought that it was wasabi. The thick green shit, looks to be about the same color as an avacado (the green stuff in guacamole)?

I love that shit, but man, it will set your head on fire and may you shed the tears. To me, it's like drinking a coke, then belching, then getting that stinging sensation in your brain, but 10x worse.

nah wasabi is the green crap. this stuff I'm talking about its like salsa looking but with a Chinese twist. I'll have to get the name next time I'm there.

Habenero peppers are hot as fuck, we have a small 2 ounce bottle of crushed/dryed peppers and its lasted for 5 years. Just one sprinkle is good for a whole plate of food.

I can taste it but the heat is barely there anymore I love it. Taste better (the physical taste not the heat) of the habanero more than any other pepper.

Have you had a scotch bonnet? They have way more flavor than the Habanero peppers IMO.

My dad has grown both in his garden. This year he planted two varieties of scotch bonnet, yellow and dark purple.

They are the best set he has done so far in both flavor and hotness. For taste, nothing beats picking a pepper fresh off the tree. My family and myself are from the Caribbean and are very serious about peppers.


CK - should try drinking some good hot green tea. It cools down the body.

CK try Dave's ULTIMATE insanity sauce. I was given a bottle of this for X-mas and it is awesome. I am pretty much immune to hot stuff, they don't make wings too hot for me. I love this stuff. There is also a Dave's ULTIMATE insanity SALSA. Put this inside an omlett, oh yeah....
I eat Habi's all the time, growing some in my garden this year, I can't wait.
