Today after hooking up my new MBC and setting her right below fuel cut (14 psi) I managed to blew off my first intake pipe ever !!!!

i just blew off my first pipe after installing my maft. best part was.. i kept going.. no afm to stop me!

it gets really old when it snaps the shitty worm gear clamp and you can't boost AT ALL while trying to drive to the auto parts store to get another...

BOOOOOOST POP JERK JERK JERK

instant fuel cut, and if you do it for too long, the check engine light comes on and it barely drives...

cooleeze pipes + t-bolts is solving my issues...

Nice. :) I haven't blown an intake pipe yet, but I popped the rubber cap that i used to block the pipe for the factory bypass valve.

I tightened the clamp too much and it cut in to the rubber. After installing my MBC and setting it to 10 PSI, the first time I got on the freeway and kept the boost up, POP! All kinds of black smoke, I thought I killed my car.

Thank god it was a 10 cent piece of rubber. :) I limped it off of the freeway, smokescreening a few semis in the process, and changed the cap out in a parking lot. It's been smooth sailing since. :thumbup:
