I blew my 7M and im going 1J....

I figure it will be about $4K, engine, tranni, harness, ECU, IC, pipes, power steering, crossmember... what else???

The best price i found was (engine, ecu, tranni, harness) for $2250.00 pressure checked and 60 day warenty!

Any one know of a better price????

For a JZA70 engine set or for a Soarer?

I have a Supra 1jz with R154 trans in the shop for $1700, but the harness is cut and no ecu. I will include the map sensor and ignitor though.

QFT, I found out the hard way it is or in my case would have been much easier with a front clip. I had a bitch of a time sourcing parts like the ECU and harness and other small parts. The whole process with much easier then everyone says it is though. Good luck man!

Buy a clip. Driftmotion has a pretty good source for them (I bought mine from them), and it will come with almost everything you need. Granted you will probably need to buy a new clutch kit (the ACT kit Driftmotion sells is very nice, I also have it in my Supra). If you have an automatic, you will also need to buy a the clutch and brake pedals too. The clip is your best option, trust me.

i bought my engine set from jdmengines. 1950 shipped, complete wiring, ecu,tranny,engine. excellent customer service, sent compression test results,pics, etc. jza70 sets will cost more than soarers or chasers. hth

I'm going 1j too. I'm actually getting 2 of them for 1300 a piece. As I was reading the thread I realized that I need to make sure what these parts look like. Map sensor and other things. If anybody has any pics of these parts please post.
