Yep the "overseas" sounds fishie. But I am sure he did him home work, and everything will be just fine....... As for the v6 LOL, come on get the v8 GT, skip the body kit, (dont get me wrong I like the roush kit) and use that $$$$ for the steeper payment. Besides the v6's value will drop like a rock, (well they both will) at least v8 will keep it's value better. Its like buying a supra without a turbo, things you just dont do in life. Again just my 2 cents. BTW I like that color on the roush, good choice.

along with the body kit, this will be a nice car. i'm thinkin of selling my supra and doin this to it. the 2jz is nice, but it would be nice to have a new car with no problems and have 330 hp. never have to replace parts all the time.

Lame. Barely as much HP as a stock GT with the body kit of a 400+hp supercharged special edition... It's like buying a V6 and putting Cobra body parts. It's still a V6. :thumbsdow

Be prepared to be made fun of a LOT, and just about everywhere. If you can handle being a poser, go for it, it'll still look cool:momaru:

Where are you buying this car from exactly?

I'm still calling scam, New cars are ridiculously cheap in the states. I'm struggling to begin you're going to find a Mustang cheaper than it's country of origin.

Military Car sales.

You just buy and pay for it overseas, but it's made in the states and delivered to a dealer near you.

Works out better for the military peeps, I think it's because you don't pay taxes on it.

BECAUSE IT'S NOT STR8! DUH! :icon_bigg

OK, Ill ask it.

Why is it that I feel like all the mustang guys w/ their nonfunctional hoodscoops and f-1 inspired wings will be giving me shit in my STI about being a ricer?

I could care less how much HP they have.

Looking for a good pic, but can't find one I can link to. I believe it's the 08 Rousch models...

i'm using AAFES car sales. we get about $5,000 worth of rebates here. we only get about $3,000 at most from the dealer if we try to buy in the States. I honestly don't care about the poser crap. i'm not trying to present the appearence of having a V8. i want a good looking body kit and a little more power. i'm still not sure if i want to keep my supra or not. so i don't know what i'd be doing to the mustang.

Then you should have bought a 08' Honda Civic EX. Better gas mileage, more rear leg room, and faster than a V6 mustang.

All mustangs get poor MPGs, even the V6.

I dunno about that. Mustang GTs that I know of (the old 5.0s, the early 4.6 and a 98 Cobra) get between 20-25 with a heavy foot. That said, the new V6 is a 4l, so I can't see that getting much if any better gas mileage than GT. You could get a GT a year older in perfect condition with low mileage and still under warranty for the same price or less, I really don't understand why you want this V6 so bad. :3d_frown:

i hate hondas. i want to stick with the V6 cause i don't need the power in it. to be honest, i'm tired of wasting my money on my supra. i could be living so much better if i didn't spend all my money on it. it's just so hard to let it go and move on, i love supras but god does it suck the money out of me. it's time in my life where i need to start saving money and planning for the future. i'm about to be moving off base to possible get my own house or just share one with a buddy.

i think all i want to do is a few interior changes and maybe the Roush body kit and some wheels, that's it. the supercharger was a dream thing that i thought would be pretty cool. i might keep my truck, sell the supra and now i'll have a brand new car with no issues and keep up on maintenance... it will last a long time. i want a car i've had from the beginning to take care of and enjoy of 10 plus years. i've always liked the newer mustangs and almost bought an '08 model, but i stuck with the supra. plus the dark candy apple red is a beautiful color that looks amazing on the mustang.
