i love my contacts, havent had a problem with remembering to take them out. I can see where it would be a problem though if noone took them out routinely.

they're making hard lenses that you wear at night, supposed to reshape your eye to the correct shape so you wear nothing during the day, but your vision gets a little worse over the day.

They said the contact I was prescribed for, is the wrong type. It's too tight on my eye and now it's got a bad infection.

Time to get paid.

Been wearing contacts here since '95 or '96. I forgot what year. Not a single problem here. Many nights of sleeping in them too. Sounds really odd and uncommon.

Then again, twised nuts is is uncommon too. so you never know.

Well, I don't think we have the money, or time to go to court over this. But I did get a lifetime (FREE) supply of contacts, glasses, sunglasses, vision testing, and meds for me, mom, step-dad, and brother.

That alone is good enough for me!

As the title says, sadly, I'm colorblind in my right eye.

Well here's the story.

I woke up yesterday around 11am with a horrible pain in my right eye, and it was so red it was insane. So I didn't tell my parents because they weren't home and I just thought it was something with my contacts.

About an hour later, I passed out because the pain was unbearable. I woke up in the emergency room with a blacklight over my face, I guess it scared me so I passed out again. I woke up a couple hours from now, and I'm colorblind in my right eye. Apparently I'm lucky I still have my vision, and I could get my color back if I wear this eyepatch for a month.

As of now, I don't feel any pain because I'm on some really crazy pain killers.

To Supravillan, I got the valve covers, alternator, most of the intake, fuel rail, and the throttle body done. Doctor told my stepdad I can work in 3 days! Woot!

Dude hope you are ok, And damn man thats gota suck.

holy jeez man hope your eye gets better; doesn't that mean that your vision as a whole is pretty fucked up now? with one being able to see color and the other not?

dont take the bribe... ultimately its their fault because they prescribed the wrong size contacts to you. this makes it their fault, your basically fucked for life. you can see color in only one color, you can only see color in one eye, you can only see color in one eye. YOU CAN ONLY SEE COLOR IN ONE EYE!! i would sue that company for what its worth. you should really contact a lawyer and ask for some free advice. oh by the way, you can only see color in one eye now; now... sue them so you can put a gte in your car. hope you feel better :D

Just woke up (PK knocked me out). Still can't see color, it almost looks like I'm looking down into a tunnel or something. I can see perfect (Out the left eye) with the patch on my right eye, but I take it off and it makes me sick to my stomach. Feels like I'm watching a fuzzy TV or something.

Damn

I have some thing where if i look at too many different color or intensity of lights i get unbearable headaches. I found out when my GF kept taking pictures in our room at night and it hurt my head so bad i couldnt even talk enough to tell her to cut it the hell out. I always thought sticking something to your eye on purpose was a bad idea tho!

BTW if you accepted their offer i think that counts as a settlement and you may be screwed in court. I would def demand cash! just go in there and say, give me a check and i wont take you to court and make a funny one eye face

just so you know... its physically impossible for the contacts to "roll back into your eye"... theres skin attached to your upper eye and lower eye, and prevents this from happening.... Just thought i would let you know....

thats messed... I dont know if he can sue them because unless he can prove the wrong contact is what caused his loss of colour they won't do shit.. .The fact of the infection was due to him leaving it in too long!

That sucks man Listen to the DR if they say take it out take it out...
