I'm building an FFIM. What would be the ultimate design?

I come from a land down under
Dave: Can't see it making a lot of difference on boost as you have a pressurised Volume of Air in there waiting for each valve to open.

If it were NA there might be a benefit.

Hey Buckshot,
IJ is obviously very on top of it. I built my first fully custom manifold which has not been tested yet but it has internal velocity stacks and I know that one of the professionally made ones does as well. I know it flowed better on bottom end but had a lot of disruption under high boost... Here are some pics of some different ones I have made. From personal experience on my own car I like the longer runner manifolds because of the torque!

Just a few ideas, I finally got the supra started again so I will tell you how the velocity stack manifold works soon!

My next one will be mandrel bend 90's leading up to to give me the volume and longer runners for the bottom end and then just my normal inlets no velocity stacks and tube design cause it is the only way it will fit! HTH

Thanks,
Seth

I love all your sounds.
Thank you sir. You truly are an icon.

I'm working on the wax right now. I'm going with lower + half of the upper as of right now.
My only concern on the nice taper into each runner is I heard the closing of the cylinder next to the open one 'could' cause a slight disruption. I think my runners are long enough that they will absorb that impact if it exists.
Thank you all.
