Siman This happened to me while i was on my way to go boxing. It was a rainy thursday evening a bit before 6pm(i like to get to gym 1hr before and warm up) and i left my street and turned right onto the main road.I was a little excited and i went sideways accross the 4 lanes of the road (no cars within sight so i accepted the risks and went for it) then i turned down the next left and went sideways down that street too (no fishtailing but a nice "controlled" slide).Heres the funny part,a unmarked copcar was watching me slide accross the 4 lanes and he had stopped (he was driving towards me coupple hundred mts up the road) and where he had stopped was where i turned/slid/power oversteer left down the next road.Basically he saw the ass end my car from his driverside window. He pulled me up and told me off and he can take my car from me for cupple days due to the anti-hoon law but he was pretty cool about it.Proceded to lecture me and I must say he was the nicest cop ive spoken to in a long time.

He was probably nice since you could HANDLE your car!!! If it was someone who just spun out or was hitting rev limiter like a goon.....he might of been NOT so nice!

I had a FUNNY run in like that 2 days ago going to work!

I was testing out the new (stock) CT in the car running 14lbs on cold tires and it was 20 degrees outside! I came over a hill at full throttle sliding in 2nd about 50mph ( speed limit was like 35-40mph)......as I crested the hiill a cop was just sitting at a stop sign minding his own business......I SLAMMED on the brakes ( a bit to hard actually, since my radar was NOT going off) and locked up all 4 wheels ( 87' turbo no ABS).......well when I pressed the clutch in and pressed the brake...the car stalled and coasted right in front of him....so I went straight into a parking lot ( thank god it was level with the road) of a Krate studio LMAO...

I instantly thought about it, got out ( meanwhile seeing him coming down the road) and popped the hood and started jiggling the TB cables and such and "throwing a fit" for show.....

( I work in the O.R. at my cities Hospital....so I was wearing my scrubs which has helped in recent pull overs with the cops....people tend to respect me more!)

He passed by REALLY SLOW...I was prepaird to get a ticket and a lecture...but he didnt stop! So as he passed I jumped into my car and came up on him, he was about 200ft away TURNING AROUND as i passed by.

He didnt pull me over.....but I learned my lesson not to "test" my car out near the downtown police station ( my fault and ignorance played an enormous role in this situation LMAO)

thats my funny morning.....:biglaugh:

PS: Then on the same afternoon inside the parking garage at work ( employee parking only) I get a parking ticket....." Parking Violation: Parked facing traffic, backed into parking space" is what it read.....

WTF????????

If you live in a state with only rear license tags I thin your supposed to park with tag visable. Also som places like universities that have parking decals placed on rear of vehicals require parking so that it is visable. This is true at University of Alabma in Huntsville. It seems like a bogus ticket still imho

Yep!

Sad thing was the lady didnt really sustain any injuries...the reason the doctors really pushed organ donoring. I believe her family already had planned it way back when. She was 38 and had two young kids taking them back from school to home and she hit a brick mail box doing no more than 25mph! She died from stress and basically "freaking out"!

She was wheeled in on life support ( already clinically dead though) and rolled out in a card board box! The harvest surgeon and mortition both kind of chuckled ( we all have thick skin for this type of stuff...got to keep your distance and some sort of humor in the O.R. ) and said that half the ashes are going to be CARDBOARD BOX remains!

I still grieve for her family though....very sad situation! Goes to show you that you CAN die from stress/shock VERY easily!

May she rest in piece and her family blessed!
