ive gone through similar stuff....all her friends would talk shit behind my back and then act all buddy buddy when we were around them....i of course never found this out until AFTER we split which was prolly best....
my bro tho...he has it pretty damn bad...his mother in law is a druggie and she is seriously FUCKED in the head...he lives his inlaws and she tried to pull some shit on him a few weekends ago and tried to call the cops on him for some total bullshit and he just went off about all the shit she has talked about him behind his back since the day he and his wife were married...interesting day...
wifey stood up tho and made her mom feel like shit...started ballin and sayin she couldnt find him anywhere in town...that went on for bout 3hrs and was pretty funny at that!!
all i can tell you is that you have to stand up for yourself and a good gf would stand up for her man too...and a good man would stand up for his gf...i know she was tryin to be polite about it and not tryin to ruin her sisters party but when you truely love someone you stand up for them no matter who and what the circumstances are!!!

I think that you have a very good woman - you simply need to hope that her whorey friends don't influence her too much. It really is awful when people talk trash about you in front of your woman, but you need to look at it like those "Gamekillers" commercials - keep your cool. I've had some scandalous things said about me, and some outright LIES by people who hardly know me. It's tough, since when growing up, my Mother has always said she hated liars [and therefore if someone accuses me of lying they immediately go on the shyte list]. When anything bad about me is said around my woman, she always takes my side, which is absolutely amazing.
