Hey everyone, i am brand new to the whole forum thing.
I live in blue island but i am usually in the lemont area on the weekends cuz of friends and family. Any owners in lemont(seen 1 mkiii[white, being driven by a lady in her like thirties] and a mkiiii[black w/carbon? hood, couldnt see into cockpit]) or blue island(seen 1 mkiiii(red, and yet again couldnt see in to cockpit]). Any of u lemont area owners wanna set up a meet for this weekend on like saturday at like 2 or 3 ish somewhere in the area. pm me with details if u feel like it

Hey just seen this thread. Im in Dixon which is bout 45 mins south of rockford but im up there all the time. Im also bout 35 mins west of dekalb. Im the only one here in dixon that is running. Oh and boost fiend im sure i can keep up with you let me know whats up and we can go cruise or something. Im down for anything. My cars running real strong now but in bout 2 weeks when i get my new turbo setup back from sound performance the car will be a monster. Shit i was in dekalb yesterday and didnt see any mkIIIs just a ford taurus with a bunch of NAZZZs stickers and a big saleen sticker on the front windsheild. But yeah if anyway of you wanna meet up just let me know im down for anything.

Whats up? I'm from a northern suburb of Chicago and frequent Dekalbto visit the GF. I'm getting ready to swap a 7mgte in my N/A chassis. If anyone is from the Chicagoland area and you want to chill, and cruise after my swap, I'm down.

Well, depending on how my car is then, i can come out. I just got it running good again, and the damn thing has somthing that sounds like a knock, but its comming from the top end. Its not tapping valves either, its a knocking noise. I may have that sorted out soon so keep this updated.
I'm in Mundelein by Vernon Hills and sorta close to Gurnee, up way north. I go to Chicago all the time, but I'm in Daytona Beach for school. Hope to be up there for Spring Break and the whole summer with my 1JZ twin turbo on t-28's.
Grrr! Rod knock ownes me! Now im down for a while. Ill have enough money by the end of April to do a rebuild, but im still gonna have a horrid suspension problem; very blown front shocks. Also, a good friend of mine just picked up an 82 Celica Supra and were gonna be doin a 7M swap on that, so there will be more in the area soon. I will still come out if you guys meet.
