ignitor and coilpck palcement

I am finally getting ready to put my motor back in my car after the fire. I am not a huge fan of the stock placement of the ignitor and coilpacks. I plan on mounting them next to each other on the firewall behind the motor.


I was trying to think of drawbacks of this. If you mount them close to each other will they interfere with each other causing misfires?

leave the igniter and mount the coilpacks if you want up there.

It can be done pretty cheaply. I got my coils for $75. All you need to do is extend the stock harness and get some IS300 spark plug wires.

Like he said. Look up a thread by bigaaron where he mounted his coils under the intake manifold. It was pretty clean
