ok i hit my 7mge with the timing light, i am running 22 deg advanced timing, I adjusted the dist as much as i could. The car runs good, am i loosing power with that much timing?? I know the stock setting is 10.

thats what i did. I have to take the dist back out and and adjust it If i set my timing to 10 or 12 will i loose any power thats what i want to know
you are gaining power from that advance i run my car pretty high in advance 15 over and i use only 93 octane from the pump, never had a knocking issue. when i bring my car to the 10 deg its supposed to be at the car is very sluggish. so i keep it high since i drive like a baboon with a rash all the time...
I have a feeling that waste spark is messing with you guys. It can be tricky to get understandable results from a smart timing light and waste spark.
Post what kind of timing light your using, what you have the light set to, and is the RPM reading correctly?
There is a chance the advance and RPM readings you are seeing are doubled, due to waste spark.

The injection timing also comes from the CPS, not just the spark out put of the secondary igntion.
